Data Center Migration
In 2015, CFS worked with a large financial company, migrating from a high-risk DC, to a highly virtualized hot-hot DC setup. CFS consultants managed schedules, ensured stakeholders met critical milestones, and ‘quarterbacked’ the cutover. Due to exceptional planning (partially by CFS), only 2 of ~1000 cutovers required rollback.
Technology Spaces Fit-out
In 2016 & 2022, CFS worked with technology SMEs and construction teams to ensure optimal buildout of technology spaces in new buildings. Activities included both high level planning, as well as audits of completed shell ready, room ready, and network live handoffs.
CCPA Implementation
Prior to enactment in 2020, CFS consultants worked end to end with data owners, legal teams, and tech silos to implement a CCPA request pipeline for a publisher. CFS managed the rollout of this process, as well as 100+ data requests. Afterwards, this procedure was packaged into a BAU process, and handed off to ServiceDesk.
Tech Lab Management & Billing
CFS was tasked with generating KPI’s and processes for users of a company-managed lab environment, for a global bank. By completion, CFS not only generated KPIs and processes, but wrote scripts to review and assign billing to separate users of the lab. CFS was able fix over $150,000 in monthly billing discrepancies.
IT Security Audit
CFS consultants performed site visits of highly secure Spaces across the United States and Canada for a large financial institution. We were able to document, provide recommendations, and eventually remediate a plethora of high-risk security issues. This created a safer and more secure service for this institution’s clients.
